EXPERT THOUGHT
Chief executive of YoungMinds Laura Bunt said: ‘Growing up today is tough, with many experiencing multiple pressures including inequality, discrimination, poverty, and a future that looks uncertain. The government can ease the pressure on teachers by rolling out open access early support hubs in every community as soon as possible, so young people can get help early for their mental health.’
