England and Wales: help shape new ways of working for school nurses

New research will seek to explore how school nurses’ work with vulnerable children and young people evolved as a result of the pandemic.

School nurses are being invited to take part in a survey to share their experiences of new ways of working remotely and creatively with children and young people.

The researchers, from Oxford Brookes University, the University of Birmingham and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, want to learn from you how practices changed and developed during this period.

By taking part, you will be helping to map the new ways of working that school nurses adopted to cope with Covid-19. You will also help inform guidance beyond the pandemic and strengthen service delivery in the long term. A full explanation of the research is given on the survey form. Unite-CPHVA is supporting the research and is part of the oversight group.
