There’s just one week left until the Unite-CPHVA Annual Professional Conference 2024. Not got round to booking a ticket yet? No problem! You still have time to book. But be quick!

Here’s a quick reminder of what you need to know:
WHEN This year’s Annual Professional Conference is taking place on 6 and 7 November at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC). If you still need to book a ticket, you can do so through the dedicated conference website, where you’ll find all the different ticket rates, including discounts for students.
WHERE You’ll find the BCEC located in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre, just a short walk from Birmingham New Street station, around a 10-minute train journey to Birmingham International Airport, and situated in the middle of Britain’s motorway network. Make sure to plan your journey accordingly!
STAY Don’t forget to also book your accommodation to make the most of both days! We recommend the Holiday Inn, adjacent to the BCEC, with a range of bedroom types for different budgets. If you haven’t yet booked a room, take a look at what’s on offer here.
ENJOY Once you’ve sorted out all the technical details, you’ll be all set to enjoy everything the event has to offer.
You can expect to see leading speakers, including CNOs and the NMC, alongside innovative researchers, practitioners and Unite. Topics will include workforce issues and resolutions, innovation in practice, cost of living impact, safeguarding, social prescribing, the PNA role, and practitioner wellbeing.
BONUS Plus, don’t forget about the special Excellence Awards taking place on the first evening of the conference. The awards are all about recognising outstanding work in health visiting, school nursing, community nursery nursing, and all community practice during the last 18 months. Winners (and runner ups) will receive their awards on the at a special ceremony, complete with dinner buffet.
