‘I am really passionate about supporting my colleagues and team in the NHS,’ says professional nurse advocate, Jo Bettison. Jo’s day one talk, ‘The role of the professional nurse advocate’, will be a part of the Enhancing Practice session, alongside Queen’s Nurse Helen Burke on ‘The role of social prescribing’.

You can also expect to learn more about the London project, Improving Education Infrastructure and SCPHN Student Expansion, from health visitor and former clinical director Jenny Gilmour.

‘I am delighted to be invited to attend the conference and looking forward to presenting as the project lead for this innovation funded by NHSE WTE (previously HEE) London Region,’ says Jenny. ‘I’m keen to share the project learning and outputs with attendees as it is critical to all our futures.’

An interactive wellbeing session is scheduled to wrap up the conference, where the primary focus is: you! Psychiatric nurse and teacher Stephen Hamilton will be there to give his expertise and offer a mental health toolkit for professionals.
