The Unite-CPHVA Excellence Awards are back for 2025. Here’s what you need to know and how to enter.

It’s time once more to celebrate all the brilliant work that you do. The Unite-CPHVA Excellence Awards 2025 are all about recognising outstanding work in health visiting, school nursing, community nursery nursing, and all community practice – specifically during the last 18 months. The aim of the awards is to celebrate innovation and best practice across the CP professions.
The winners get to receive their awards at a special ceremony on the first evening of the Unite-CPHVA Annual Professional Conference. Last year’s event was a huge success, with plenty of celebration, and opportunities to network. It presents a fantastic opportunity to raise your profile, reflect on (and enjoy) all your work.
There are seven categories to choose from and they cover all CP professions, stages of career, and teams as well as individuals.
THE CATEGORIES ARE…
- Health visitor of the year
- School nurse of the year
- Community nursery nurse of the year
- Team of the year
- Diversity, equity and inclusion award
- Innovation award
- Advocate award
HOW TO ENTER
Clearly communicate with a written submission the excellence in practice. You should provide evidence of the outcomes your nominee/s have delivered and explain how they/you (if part of a team) have adapted the approach. Work exemplifying innovation or creativity in public health, as well as collaboration will be particularly welcomed. Best of luck!
