International Women’s Day event: Inspire inclusion

To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust are holding a special panel discussion in partnership with the Asian Professional National Alliance (APNA).

The online event, taking place on Wednesday 13 March 2024, seeks to ‘Inspire inclusion’, with the aim of inspiring others to recognise and value the inclusion of women, and to inspire women to be included for a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.

Speakers will be coming from the US, Canada and the UK to share their career journeys and offer their expertise on how to support women in the workplace. Along with host Asha Day, co-general secretary at APNA NHS and CPHVA Executive vice chair, you will hear from:

  • Angela Hillery, Chief Executive of Leicestershire Partnership and Northamptonshire Healthcare Associate University Group.
  • Sharon Murphy, Director of Finance and Performance at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
  • Sam Allen, Chief Executive of North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board and Chair of the Health and Care Women Leaders Network
  • Olivia Nuamah, the National Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging Lead at PwC Canada.
