Lead professionals confirmed for conference

19 September 2018

High profile policy makers representing all four nations are just a few of the speakers confirmed for the 2018 Unite-CPHVA annual conference on 17 and 18 October in Bournemouth.

Chief nursing officers for Northern Ireland and Wales, the professional advisor for public health to the Scottish Government and the chief information officer at NHS England will all speak at the conference next month.

The shadow secretary of state for health will also talk.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Learn from the past: your role, your voice, your future’. It will be celebrating the achievements of the NHS, the suffragette movement and contributions from the Windrush generation.

As well as plenary sessions, health visitors, school nurses, community nursery nurses, researchers, lecturers and students can attend sessions of interest on the dedicated conference programme.

Delegates can tailor the conference programme to meet their own professional needs with the choice of concurrent sessions and masterclasses.

Prices for a single-day ticket start from £94 and the cost of a two-day ticket begins at £144.
